Carnegie Corporation Grant

We are incredibly proud to share that Carnegie Corporation of New York has approved a grant supporting Riverside Immigrant Services & Empowerment. The Corporation was established by Andrew Carnegie in 1911 to promote the advancement and diffusion of knowledge and understanding. Today, the foundation works to reduce political polarization through philanthropic support for Carnegie's three priority areas: Education, Democracy, and International Peace and Security.

Being part of this inaugural class of adult literacy grants from Carnegie Corporation of New York is a tremendous honor. This investment will allow us to increase the number of newly arrived immigrants and refugees who can access our enhanced integration services, which include immersive English language instruction, workforce and digital literacy training, wrap-around case management, and community and civic engagement. We thank the Corporation for partnering with us to support the advancement of new immigrants in New York City.
