Join Riverside for our annual State of the Field discussion as we examine the changing immigration landscape and its impact on immigrant New Yorkers. Drawing on our first policy brief and the experiences and concerns shared by Riverside participants and alumni, we will highlight key developments and emerging trends affecting our communities, including the challenges immigrants face in pursuing education, maintaining employment, accessing services, and planning for their futures.
We will be joined by Paulina Leyva, Immigration & Detention Fellow Expert from our partner, the Refugee and Immigrant Fund (RIF), who will bring perspectives from RIF's work with immigrant communities, particularly around immigration enforcement and detention. Together, we will consider what these developments mean for the people we serve, discuss emerging needs, and explore how we can work collectively to better support immigrant New Yorkers during this challenging time. We hope you'll join us.
